With regard to the current situation in the Middle East, our underwriters have confirmed that there is no cover under any of our policies for any consequence whether direct or indirect of war, invasion, act of foreign enemy, hostilities (whether war be declared or not), civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection or military or usurped power.  

Any injuries sustained from the results of military action, bomb or drone attacks should be reported to our Claims and Assistance Helpline on +44 (0)330 311 2638. Cover for medical treatment under these circumstances will be considered on a case by case basis, provided the policy holder was already in one of the following countries prior to the change of travel advice on 28/02/2026.

• Bahrain
• Israel (all travel)
• Kuwait
• Qatar
• United Arab Emirates

Policyholders should continue to closely follow local news reports for the latest updates and ensure that any and all instructions given by local authorities are strictly followed. For individuals who are due to travel, or now unable to travel, we would advise first seeking information from their travel companies or airlines to check what they might be entitled to from these companies.

There is no cover for any trips to countries to which the FCDO advises against all or all but essential travel.
